An article in Daily Mail reports on a new study that found wearing a Fitbit could track changes in sleeping patterns and warn doctors of changes in sleeping patterns that hint at relapse in people with schizophrenia. A Fitbit is a gadget that a person wears on his or her wrist that can track activity such as exercise, food, weight, and sleep. Deteriorating sleep patterns have signaled a potential relapse for quite some time, but objective measurement of such patterns has been difficult to obtain.
