Only 55 percent of people with ADHD seek treatment over the course of their lifetime, according to an article published in the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. Men and women showed similar probabilities of seeking treatment. However, men with ADHD who also have alcohol dependence, depression, or borderline personality disorder were more likely to seek treatment.
